Evelina Staikova

Evelina Staykova assistant professor at NBU. She is a PhD student in Political sciences at NBU. She is program director at the department of Political sciences and coordinator of CERMES (Centre for Refugees, Migration and Ethnic Studies). Her teaching and research interests include migration, citizenship, ethnicity, e-democracy. Evelina Staykova is experienced in coordinating and participation in various projects in the spheres of analysing the quality of democracy, integration of migrants and minorities, and development of city policies. For achievement in studying political sciences and civil courage she was awarded the Charls Mozerscholarship and the prize The Bulgarian Student of the year 2008 in category Social Science and Law. She is a member of the Cermes, Bulgarian partner of the Migrapass (Leonardo da Vinci, 2010-2012).
